NE Nomisma Energia, assieme a SEEC – South East Europe Consultants (Serbia), ha avviato un ambizioso progetto di studio del Master Plan delle Reti dell’Energia per la Regione Adriatico-Ionica.
The Master Plan focuses on the electricity and natural gas systems in the EUSAIR (European Strategy for Adriatic and Ionian Region) area and its Member States, their supply, transmission and distribution networks and options for clean fuels for transport, also with the aim of proposing to the stakeholders a vision of opportunities, consequences for production systems, investment prospects. The Master Plan takes into account the need for a better integration of the Adriatic-Ionian Region in the EU, in order to promote the energy policy objectives for competitiveness, security and sustainability while respecting the different starting points and structural peculiarities of the EUSAIR Member States.
The development of the Master Plan requires interaction with the relevant administrations of EUSAIR Member States, their regulatory authorities, industry associations, academia, and stakeholders through the organisation of workshops and ad hoc meetings.
The project started in April 2022 and ends in June 2023.
